1953 Tipo 500/625 F1 "1954 British Grand Prix, driven by Louis Rosier" 1954 British Grand Prix, driven by Louis Rosier, Ecurie Rosier For 1952, Louis Rosier switched from his aging Talbot Lago to a brand new Type 500 F2. The son of a French wine merchant, he had earned some impressive results including winning the 1950 Le Mans 24 Hours and back-to-back victories at the Dutch Grand Prix in 1950 and 1951. The Type 500 F2 was just the machine to keep him competitive, and he stretched it's career through 1952 and 1953, and right into the 1954 season by upgrading the motor to the new 625 unit. Exoto has captured the famous blue Type 500/625 as it raced at the British Grand Prix in 1954. This lovely Ecurie Rosier racer deserves a place in most any collection.
